We’ve got some exciting news!
This past fall, the Heritage Center launched the “silent phase” of a capital campaign that we’ve named Celebrating Heritage: Opening a Way for Education and Community. The goal of the campaign was to raise $750,000 in order to widen our driveway, pave our parking lot, and build a picnic pavilion with restrooms at the top of our hill. You can download a PDF flyer here with information about the campaign:
We’re now ready to announce the “public phase” of the campaign. The exciting news is this: we have reached and surpassed our goal of $750,000! During the “silent phase” of the campaign through January 2025, we received $730,000 in donations and commitments. The “public phase” of our campaign has quickly achieved our original goal. The pavilion is built, and we are working to get the utilities and landscaping completed. The paving work will happen sometime this year. In just a few short months, we’ve gone from dreams to reality, putting the faith of our community into action!
To say that we’ve been amazed and humbled by the outpouring of generosity we’ve received would be an understatement. We eagerly look forward to seeing how these improvements to our campus will enhance the existing ministries of the Heritage Center and create new opportunities for us to serve the community.
Until the work is done, we won’t know what final costs will be, and there is so much more we plan to do to improve our campus. Our campaign committee invites you to consider a gift to support these efforts—either a one-time gift or a three-year pledge. Please look over the campaign flyer and prayerfully consider supporting this special project at the Heritage Center.
