Worship in the Woods - Kyle Remnant

Kyle Headshot.jpg

Worship in the Woods is the summer vespers series of the Brethren & Mennonite Heritage Center, held Sunday evenings in the natural amphitheater on the Heritage Center campus. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 season is held online, with many of the participants filmed in the amphitheater setting.

This week we are joined by Kyle Remnant, a member of the Bridgewater Church of the Brethren. He and his wife, Kaity, serve as Interim Youth Coordinators. Kyle has music degrees from Bridgewater College and James Madison University, and is currently working on his doctorate at JMU. He also completed a Certificate of Achievement in Theological Studies at Bethany Theological Seminary in 2018. Kyle has been a guest musician and speaker at several churches within the denomination, and was the keynote speaker at this year's Roundtable Youth Conference at Bridgewater College. He last spoke at the Worship in the Woods series in 2013.

This week's worship leader is retired Church of the Brethren minister and BMHC board member Paul Roth, and music this week Greg & Kristina Yoder and musicians from Community Mennonite Church in Harrisonburg, VA.
