This week Worship in the Woods features music and meditation from Larry Aikens, Jr.

Pastor Larry Aikens has been trying to follow a call to serve Jesus since 1986, entering the ministry full-time in 1992—first as a music and youth minister, then transitioning to the role of a lead pastor in 1995. He holds three seminary degrees, the most recent an M.Div. from Eastern Mennonite Seminary in 2016. He enjoys a wonderful marriage to a lovely lady, Diane, and together they serve their church family at Bethel-Mayland Church of the Brethren in Broadway. When asked about his mission in life, Larry responded, “I try to serve Jesus with a passion to introduce people to the love and grace of Christ that changes me.” His life’s verses are Psalm 40:1-3.
